Mindful Mondays @ Meet Outside Zot n' Go

Join us every Monday for a journey into mindfulness! Each week, we’ll explore different practices such as meditation, mindful movement,and loving-kindness meditation. Science shows that mindfulness can reduce anxiety, improve sleep, enhance your mood, and boost focus.

No prior experience needed —beginners are warmly welcomed! Asa special gift, participants will receive an essential oil roller to carry their mindful practice with them.

We’ll gather in front of Zot N’ Go, then embark as a group to a serene spot for our meditation session.

Wed. Wellness Walks: UCI Ecological Preserve @ Meet Outside Zot n' Go

Discover the beauty of nature with us!  Join our Wednesday Wellness Walks, a bi-weekly adventure to local UCI points of interest.

Explore nearby parks and nature preserves, right in our own backyard. Along the way, we’ll practice mindfulness and learn about our local ecology. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome! Walk at your own pace and leave whenever you need to.

Meet us at 11:30 am in front of Zot N’ Go, dressed comfortably for a nature walk (which may include adequate sun protection and closed-toe shoes).

Be a Lifesaver! Learn to recognize opioid overdose signs and administer Narcan.

Join us to understand the signs and symptoms of opioid overdose, the right actions to take, and how to use Narcan nasal spray to potentially save a life. As a special bonus, participants will receive a FREE box of Narcan, including two individual doses!

Anteaters for Recovery (Support Group) @ Student Center, G319 Conference Room

Anteaters for Recovery is a new support group program at UCI intended for students who identify as being in recovery.

Whether it’s recovery from alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders, growing up in an alcoholic family, or any other life-altering situation, you’re not alone. Join us in this safe and confidential space where we share, listen, support, and uplift each other. Our meetings are led by a pro-staff member also in recovery.

Anteaters for Recovery is not therapy or group counseling, but rather a support system where you can heal, grow, and thrive with others.
